Puppy Deposit Contract

A deposit in the amount of $310 is required to reserve and hold the available puppy of your choice until the puppy is ready to be picked up, or shipped. The order of puppy picks are determined by the order of deposits received. Deposits can be paid on our website with credit card or PayPal. You will be charged $300 for the deposit and $10 for the processing fee. $300 will go toward the final purchase price of your puppy.

Final payment for the puppy is required at, or before puppy pick up. Puppies that are being shipped must have the final balance paid by the end of the puppy's 7th week of age. For all puppies picked up in person, there is an additional Ohio sales tax of 7.25% based on the purchase price of the puppy. Puppies being shipped out-of-state do not require Ohio sales tax. On final payment only, we accept Paypal, Venmo, cashier's check, or cash. Any PayPal payments require a 3% additional fee. We DO NOT accept a personal check on the day of pick up. All checks must clear our bank before we release the puppy into your care.

Once a deposit is received, the deposit is refundable until you pick a puppy. After a puppy is chosen, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

If you are paying your deposit by a means that takes time to receive, such as a personal check, your puppy, if already born, will be marked as unavailable until your deposit clears our bank. Ensure to make these arraignments ahead of time with us.

All of our doodle puppies are sold as PET ONLY. All puppies must be picked up within 7 days of purchase/deposit if purchasing after 8 weeks of age, or if purchasing before 8 weeks of age, 7 days of their 8 week birthday. There will be a $100/week (7 days) charge for puppies extending past the initial 7 day pick-up time frame. For puppies being shipped, there is an additional $75 fee for puppies that remain 10 days past their spay/neuter date or 10 days past a purchase/deposit date that was made after the spay/neuter date. This extra $75 fee is to provide a new health certificate for travel as the certificates are good for only 10 days.

When considering your puppy choice for your family, it is imperative you take the time necessary to choose what sex and color you want. We can provide a general size estimate and a general temperament estimate, but we cannot guarantee it with 100% certainty. Although not common, puppies can sometimes fade, or change color as they mature. We again can give you a general idea of color, but we cannot guarantee it. Once a deposit is made and the puppy is marked unavailable, there is no switching to another puppy or litter. Remember, deposits are non-refundable.

The Puppy House reserves the right to first pick at any point in the sale process. The Puppy House also reserves the right to refuse the sale of our puppies if it is in the best interest of our puppies.

By completing and submitting the form below, the buyer acknowledges that he or she has read and reviewed the terms of this agreement as set forth for a pet puppy. Both parties acknowledge there are no other warranties or representations made with respect to this puppy other than as set forth herein, and that the buyer has also oriented from the internet, or when picking up the puppy, has received a copy of this contract.
